Since we upgraded to Service Manager (9.1.2) a week or so ago our users have noticed that the Request screens don’t auto-refresh like they used to in Infra.
For example, viewing “Tasks Outstanding”, you open and complete a task in your list; if the next task in the workflow also gets assigned to you, in Infra, as soon as you completed the first task, then the “Tasks Outstanding” view would auto-refresh and you would instantly see the next task to action in the list. Now you have to manually click the Refresh button before the task appears.
In the same way, if you view the Task Dependencies diagram of a Request, open the active task and complete it, in Infra the next Task would automatically get highlighted in blue on the diagram – now you have to manually refresh it.
I presume this change was done for system performance reasons? I guess there’s no way of switching back on the auto-refresh functionality and our users will just have to get used to manually clicking the refresh icon? But I thought I’d just check in case anyone else has come across this and has a change we can apply.
Thanks, Ian
