I've used Fusion 4 without any problem and recently upgraded to fusion 5. I'm regretting jumping the gun to Fusion 5. I'm running lion and mountain lion guest OSs with fusion and it has been nothing but problems. I've had numerous instances of the guest OS hanging and becoming unresponsive to any input forcing me to force shutdown the VM and reboot it. I've also had Fusion 5 completely crash which I had never seen before with Fusion 4. I was doing some simple web browsing on my host OS and out of the blue Fusion crashes. There's a million reasons why an application can crash, I'm just going to say it never happened with Fusion 4.
