Cpu usage and Cpu demand in Vcops 5.6

Hi All,

I've seen that many vm configured in my virtual center there is a significant difference between %cpu usage and %cpu demand, with a very high %Cpu contention.

For example, for a VM with 6 Vcpu (Entitlement = 13.800 MHz) there are the following values:

CPU Usage: 45%

CPU Demand: 72%

CPU Contention: 35%

CPU Ready: 3%

How to perform a good tuning so that CPU usage can effectively be "near" to the CPU Demand, or reducing the cpu contention?
